On Saturday, July 22nd at UFC Fight Night in London, Daniel Marcos took on Davey Grant, a longtime veteran in the UFC. The fight went the entire 3 rounds with Grant playing mostly offense in the first two rounds while Marcos sat back to play defense. The third round is where Marcos started to gain more control and opened the third round with a knee kick followed by a backwards elbow that connected. Grant continued to keep his pace throughout the rest of the third round. Marcos was able to get Grant down on the mat by a single leg takedown, but he did not stay down for long. They both continued to throw punches until the end of the round. Marcos won by split decision and is still undefeated. Congratulations Daniel!
