On Saturday August 12th at UFC 78 in Las Vegas, Da'Mon Blackshear took on Jose Johnson in the prelims. Johnson took the fight last minute because Blackshear's opponent dropped out just a couple days before he planned to head to Vegas. But he didn't let this get in the way of his goal. The round began with both fighters exchanging punches and kicks back and forth for the first minute or so in the round. It wasn't until Blackshear got Johnson to the ground and he knew that he had him right where he wanted. At 3:47 in round one, Da’Mon got him to submit to a rare twister submission. He is now only the 3rd ever fighter to win by a twister submission in UFC history! Congrats on your win!!!
