Fighting out of Lima, Peru, Castro has quickly established himself as a dangerous finisher, showcasing elite grappling and an aggressive style inside the cage. Outside of MMA, Castro is an accomplished submission grappler. He captured gold at the 2023 ADCC Austin Open and is also a NAGA Gold Medalist, demonstrating the high-level grappling pedigree that has fueled his early professional success. Representing Team Los Perros Sarnosos, Castro has built an impressive seven-fight overall winning streak and is currently ranked the 11th bantamweight in all of South America solidifying his status as one of the country's top emerging talents.
